introduction
This is the first release by ROMEO, which was a single consisting of Side A and Side B. The single includes the songs BALDWIN BABY and warmth of a mourning dove, which both explore themes of a "past self" being missed and dissolved through nostalgia.
BALDWIN BABY (visualizer)
Regarding the project rollout, I planned to release two visualizers, with the first being for BALDWIN BABY. I set out to match the "droning" sounds within this song by using slow-motion imagery through a fisheye lens. Rewinding parts of the footage to emphasize the themes of the "past self"

For the visualizer for warmth of a mourning dove, I set out to style the video similarly to the first visualizer, but with more added visual references to the "past self", including flash images of old polaroids and videos. I also really emphasized the rewinding to be on time with the song to make it visually "breath"
