introduction
Based on the first single GARDENIA, romeo(EP) was made to expand upon warm memories that can and will "hold you back," whether or not it is something to look back on. It's non-linear in the sense that each memory (each song) isn't consistent in emotion about, trying to replicate "thinking back" and how that process can go in any direction emotionally (bad memories).
GARDENIA (the single)
There was a store in La Crescenta called the “Gardenia Store” on 4121 Pennsylvania Ave, Glendale, CA 91214 (yes, I looked it up specifically just because you should see it. It’s a nice little store). This store was near my old condo/townhome, and I spent a good lot of my childhood there. It just reminds me of a warm and orange time. Regardless of the season, I will always associate it with the summer.
GARDENIA (promo)
For promotion, I set out to release a "trailer" on Instagram for GARDENIA, setting the release up as a "song on the radio".

GARDENIA (lyric video/visualizer)
For the visualizer, I set out to release a lyric video on socials to put an image to the sound. Visually, I wanted to invoke that "summer glow" the song has, so naturally, I went out to film at Sewell Park near the river. The slo-motion is to physically show the passage of time.
